One of my favorite sales this month was this one! The Campbells came to me with the idea of selling their home on Kenneth Road (right across the street from the ‘Gone with the Wind’ house) and were told by others that the only way they could do this sale is by going through a lengthy short sale. I disagreed.
The Result: We found a buyer in 6 days that paid all cash and closed escrow in only 14 days (over asking price). Best of all, this took place nearly a week before the home was about to go into foreclosure. They walked away with dignity, and actually, with money in their pockets!! This entire process (from meeting the Campbells to closing escrow) took place in January 2013!
