2008 was truly one of the most interesting years for me in real estate. It really gave me great insight on how volatile real estate can actually be. We all know how limited and stringent lenders have become. The interesting part is, I’ve never seen such incredible rates and programs in my life! I’ve always encouraged everyone, I mean “everyone” to put a minimum of 20% on any purchase. Some took extreme of what banks had to offer and now they’re paying the price. Now, you see the short sales and foreclosures. How ironic!
Despite an elevated unemployment rate, and an economy which has the entire world second guessing, I have decided to continue offering my services like no other in 2009.
I think we’re the only real estate company in town which actually grew in the last 12 months. With just over $30,000,000 in sales for 2008, we’re starting the year with an even stronger mindset and team. Nearly 40% of our listings were sold within our own office. None of this would have ever been possible if I were to do it alone.
Check back as we continuously update our site. We’re currently ranked among the top in Google, Yahoo for our local real estate services. We have dominated a great online presence as we continue to focus a great deal of attention to those who have commenced their initial rela estate search online.
We’re going to continue having fun selling real estate. Each house has it’s own story and challenge. Seeing both sellers and buyers meet and exchange their most valuable asset is truly rewarding and exciting, and I’ll see to it that we maximize this experience.
